Internet Video Marketing: Dominating Video Marketing

Hello guys and welcome to my article that is strictly dedicated to marketing your website. Does your website get enough traffic? If your answer to this question is no, then please read on as the solution to your problem is closer than you think. I will start by saying that there are several ways to marketing your website and so to make this article more specific I will cover the one that I use in particular that had yielded great results, Video Marketing.

Video Marketing is starting to pretty much take over the web as over half of all the sites on the Internet are switching over to this type of website. One can likely contribute this growth to the many WEB 2.0 sites like You tube that are emerging almost daily. In addition web surfers are becoming spoiled and lazy and are opting to view video sites as oppose to static pages where they have to actually read content. A good example of this is when you're looking for a tutorial on how to work new software you have just purchased, unless you're a word hungry intellectual you probably would choose to watch a video to walk you through the process over reading a lengthy page of content.

How do you use video to market your website? There are several answers to this question and so I will cover a few that first come to mind. The first method is to make a video review of a product or service that your site offers and upload it to several video sites. If you can get your video ranking high in the search results of the video site then you are cooking with gas. I have also noticed that in many cases your video will out rank static pages on Google that have been around for months. Many say that this happens because Google owns You tube and when you use this site your get special treatment and perks.

The last method I will cover with be advertising on other peoples videos. This has been the most successful type of video marketing that I have used to date. The process works like this: you search the video site of your choice let's say we use You tube for this example, what you are looking for is a viral video that has over 75,000 views. Once you have located a video with the proper number of views click on the down arrow in the description box, this should tell you if the number of views are dropping, standing still or climbing.

Your aim from this point is to find a video that is climbing and that doesn't currently have any video ads in it. From there you simply send the video's owner an email that offers him a fee for putting your pop up ad in his video you will be surprised at just how many people will add your video for as low as $20 bucks. Keep up this process and before you know it you will have more traffic coming to your site than you can shake a stick at.
